Just for fun, I've decided to make a series of song lists that I've listened to at different points during NaNoWriMo. The interesting part is, the songs don't pertain to what I'm writing at all. Or do they?
I might even use this as a record to see if there's any correlation between subject matter, emotions conveyed, quality of writing, etc., based on the song(s).
So anyway, here goes.
Helena - My Chemical Romance
Lunacy Fringe - The Used
The Fantasy - 30 Seconds to Mars
Alumina - Nightmare
The Best of Me - The Used
Ignorance - Paramore
Hm...let's look at some common themes. Unfortunately, I can't understand Japanese, and the translations are rough, so I think I'll just leave Alumina out. However, the majority of the songs are angry, sad, or both. This is interesting, though, because my MC doesn't really feel emotions.
